By downloading or using Sí, Yo Hablo, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English so they're actually readable. If something isn't clear, email us at [email protected].

What Sí, Yo Hablo is

Sí, Yo Hablo is a Spanish language learning app built around listening, speaking, and conversation practice. It's available as a free tier with limited content and a Pro subscription that unlocks unlimited access to all features and sentence content.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. By using the app, you're confirming you meet these requirements.

Subscriptions and payments

• All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We never see or handle your payment details.
• Pro subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• To cancel, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, not us. You can request a refund through Apple's standard refund process.
• Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

What you can and can't do

You're welcome to:

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial language learning
• Access your content across devices using the same account

Please don't:

• Copy, scrape, or reproduce any app content (sentences, translations, audio)
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Share your account with others or resell access
• Use the app for any commercial or unlawful purpose

Your voice recordings

You own your voice recordings. When you use a speaking practice feature, your audio is sent to third-party services (ElevenLabs and xAI) solely to evaluate your response and give you feedback. The audio is processed in real time and not stored by us or those services after processing. We do not use your voice for training AI models or any other purpose.

Service availability

We do our best to keep the app running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend features at any time. If we make a significant change that affects your subscription, we'll do our best to let you know in advance.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about specific learning outcomes, uninterrupted service, or data retention. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages — direct or indirect — resulting from your use of the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
